1. Buy a good quality waxing kit

Buy all the materials, wax or wax strips, body scrub, talcum powder, body lotion, and pain-numbing cream. A good quality wax removes all the hairs from a single pass from the roots, without any hairs left after you quickly pull that strip. Carefully, Choose the wax according to your hair. If you’ve sensitive skin, choose one that has been clinically-tested. If you’re not sure about the type of your skin, an aloe-based one is always safe.

One of the most important things to remember is to always exfoliate before waxing. It helps to prevent ingrown hairs by removing the layer of dead skin or dead cells. It gently helps open up hair follicles and soften body hair, making waxing a less painful and easier process. While the maximum possibility of ingrowth is mostly on the legs, exfoliating the rest of your body, not just before a waxing day but 1-2 times a week, will leave you feeling amazing.

3. No sweat

Wash and dry the area to be waxed. Don’t apply creams, moisturizers, or deodorants on the day of the waxing. Any moisture or oil will not let the wax cling to your hair.

4. Use Baby Powder Before Waxing

Once you’re done with your exfoliating, apply baby powder on the skin area that’s about to be waxed. It will absorb any existing moisture, which will enable the waxing to properly adhere to your skin.

5. Ensure proper hair length

For the wax to remove the majority of hairs from the first pass, they must be neither too short nor too long. Make sure your hair is no less than 1/4 inch and no more than 3/4 inch long. If the hairs are too long, You can use a trimmer. If you’re doing it the first time, you should figure out how much time you have to wait for the next waxing.

6. Test the temperature of the wax

If you’ve chosen a hard wax then You should definitely test it, before it can be applied. If it’s too hot it’s not good for your skin, and If it’s too hot it’s not good if it’s too cold. The temperature should be comfortably warm. Of course, if you’ve chosen cold wax strips then temperature doesn’t matter.

7. Apply in the right direction

Another one of those essential waxing tips to do it perfectly. Apply the wax in the direction of hair growth and pull in the opposite direction. When pulling it off, keep the wax strip close to your skin. No hesitation, Grit your teeth and just pull.
